Parkland's Early Transfer Academy Info Session Monday 22nd! 
The Early Transfer Academy (ETA) is a set of early-morning or late-afternoon classes at Parkland College that high school and home school juniors and seniors take to fulfill their gen ed requirements.
​Parkland College is hosting an Early Transfer Academy (ETA) Informational Session for students and parents on Monday January 22nd at 6:30 PM in room U 140 (Student Union).
Attached you will find detailed information about the ETA program with the first year courses listed. If you have any students who may be interested, please encourage them to attend the informational session. ResearcHStart Medical Research Training for High School Students
ResearcHStart welcomes high school students from the Chicago and Urbana-Champaign areas to explore exciting
careers in cancer research. Participants work full time in the laboratories of established cancer researchers, gaining hands-on experience in areas at the forefront of the field: cancer immunology, pharmacogenomics of anticancer agents, bioengineering, experimental cancer therapeutics, cancer disparities, and more. Rigorous research training is complemented by career development and skill-building workshops, a cancer-based faculty lecture series, and a network of faculty and peer mentors dedicated to students’ success. The program culminates in a research symposium for family, friends, and members of the scientific community. Participants receive a taxable stipend of $2,000.​
